What’s an au pair?

As families know firsthand, finding reliable, flexible child care outside the home can be a challenge.

Maybe the day care by your house isn’t taking new children, or your work schedule is irregular and you can’t find hours that mesh with yours. Perhaps you work nights, or you prefer one-on-one care for your child. Whatever the case may be, finding child care that comes to you has a lot of appeal—and surprisingly, is more cost-effective than you might think.
