Au Pair Agency Costs for Host Families

Paying late fees for every minute, taking vacation days when kids are sick or school is closed, and seeing increasing rates as families grow - these are some of the reasons parents choose an au pair over other childcare options like daycare and nannies.  How much does an au pair cost? Our transparent pricing structure below enables you to budget your childcare for the entire year since the cost remains the same, even as your family grows.

Program Fees Include:

    • Au Pair Screening

    • Personalized Au Pair Matching
    • Au Pair Academy Training

    • Au Pair's Travel and Accident Insurance

    • International Airfare for your au pair

    • Year-long support from AuPairCare and your local Area Director

Not included in our pricing are variable and optional costs, such as automobile insurance (should you choose to let your au pair drive), up to $500 for educational reimbursement for your au pair, or various au pair online training courses.

Additional Program Options

In-Country Au Pairs

Some families may fit best with an au pair who is already in the United States. The program fee for an in-country au pair is $700 for each month remaining on the au pair’s visa (months left on visa x $700 = total program fee) plus the minimum weekly stipend paid directly to the au pair. Availability is limited and dependent on factors such as the au pair’s current location, qualifications and date of availability. Families are responsible for the cost of the au pair's transportation to the new community, and the program fee and $250 placement fee are due in full upon matching.
