One commonality of parents, whether they are expecting their first child or their fifth, is how carefully they prepare for their child's first months of life. AuPairCare's Infant Specialized program is designed with your child's needs in mind. An additional $950 in program fees covers the hand selection of eligible au pairs along with special training at Au Pair Academy that prepares them to give babies the special care and attention they need. - Infant Specialized au pairs have at a minimum 200 documented hours of childcare experience with infants and children under two and are screened by AuPairCare
- At AuPairCare Academy au pairs receive5 days of intensive training from certified instructors on topics such as: establishing routines for babies, feeding, bathing, soothing, transportation and general household safety
- Every Infant Specialized au pair is certified in CPR by the American Safety & Healthy Institute during their training
- Au Pairs are trained in the American Way of infant caregiving including using American measurements, U.S. sleep guidelines and more
- Infant specialized au pairs and their host families can work on a schedule around night feeding and sleeping schedules, as long as it adheres to the Department of State 10 hours of care per day/ 45 hours of care per week schedule
