Au Pair Travel: The White House

The White House, built in 1792 and home to all U.S. presidents since President John Adams, is arguably the most famous house in the world. Annually, thousands upon thousands of visitors from across the United States and the globe visit what was once referred to as ‘the President’s Palace’. This spring, 18 DC area au pairs had the amazing opportunity to visit this beloved American landmark.

Au Pairs in Rye Help Out at Sharing Shelf

AuPairCare Area Directors and their army of 35 au pairs headed up to Port Chester and The Sharing Shelf for a volunteer session that lasted over two hours.

International Students Pack Gifts for World's Needy Children

They came to Bucks County from around the world, and now 15 au pairs will send gifts out around the world. The 15 women, from countries such as Colombia, Brazil, South Africa and Poland, brought their donations and donations from their host families and au pair coordinators to pack in gift boxes Saturday night. The 50 gifts from the event will go to Operation Christmas Child, the annual gift collection run by the Samaritan’s Purse charity.

Gabriela and a team of her fellow AuPairCare au pairs from around the world living for a year in Walnut Creek were determined to do their part to make their temporary community better than they found it.
