AuPairCare Celebrates Exchange Day 2021

AuPairCare Celebrates Exchange Day 2021

In celebration of Exchange Day on August 2nd, we wanted to highlight some of our amazing au pairs throughout the years giving back to their community and showcasing the positive impact that exchange programs have on so many people!

First up is au pair Victoria volunteering with her local church to provide food and clothing to the homeless in the Houston, Texas area. As well as au pair Moeka voluntarily leading English classes for fellow AuPairCare au pairs.

We're also highlighting Daniela from Colombia and her amazing au pair experience! “My host family teaches me that family is where life begins and love never ends. I could never imagine that I would belong to a home with so much love, tenderness, tranquility and understanding. They made me feel like family from the first moment I came from Colombia.“My host family teaches me that family is where life begins and love never ends. So if you asked me, “what do you get from the Au Pair program?”, my answer to this would be that life is very beautiful when you let it flow, that it gives you the power to create the life you want, and that not all changes are bad. But the most important thing is that the goals can also be met in difficult times such as this with the unexpected arrival of a global pandemic. In short, I learned that this experience is only a matter of living it with love, honor, values and faith, in addition to enjoying all the beauty of this life and taking advantage of all the opportunities to be happy, and to do those around you.”

We have so many au pairs getting involved and doing great things from volunteering, sharing cultural diversity, and learning American customs! We can't wait to celebrate Exchange Day next year!
