AuPairCare Wins 2013 Bay Area Parent Magazine's Best Nanny Service

AuPairCare, the leading au pair agency that provides affordable live-in child care services to families across the nation, is proud to announce that it has won the first place Gold award for “Best Nanny Service” in San Francisco/Marin, East Bay, Peninsula and Silicon Valley in Bay Area Parent’s 2013 Best of the Best Awards.

“Families like that we provide local service and support year-round while they host an au pair,” said Steven Courtney, AuPairCare Regional Manager for California. “This award motivates us to continue to provide exceptional customer service, and we would like to thank Bay Area families for recognizing AuPairCare in this category for the second year in a row!”

AuPairCare matches American host families with international au pairs from more than 40 countries, providing U.S. families with an affordable and flexible live-in child care option.

“AuPairCare has been dedicated to providing American families with affordable child care solutions since 1989,” said Heidi Woehl, Executive Vice President, AuPairCare. “As a working mom, I know first-hand how important it is to have reliable child care in the Bay Area and I’m thrilled we have been honored with these awards from Bay Area Parent.”

AuPairCare offers two main program options to fit each family’s specific needs. The Standard One-Year Program provides dedicated child care and cultural exchange for one year. Au pairs provide up to 45 hours of child care per week chosen by the host family, which provides increased flexibility when compared to day cares, nannies or babysitters. For families who are expecting or have a child less than 12 months old, AuPairCare offers the Infant Specialized Program. Au pairs in this intensive training program learn infant sign language, baby massage techniques, games to stimulate infant mental development, and American parenting techniques. In addition, host families and au pairs who want to extend the au pair’s stay use the Extension Program, which provides up to two years of continuing child care.
