My name is Heather Murray, and I am the AuPairCare representative for Northeast Ohio. I have worked for AuPairCare since April 2005. I have a wonderful husband, a beautiful daughter and very active twin boys. I enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor activities and learning about other cultures. As an AuPairCare representative, my role is to provide personal and proactive support to families and au pairs. I am responsible for interviewing host families, conducting arrival orientations, organizing monthly activities, maintaining monthly contact, and providing additional support as needed throughout the program year. There are approximately 25 au pairs and host families in my area. Cleveland, Ohio is the largest city in my region and Akron is the second largest. I look forward to continued growth and welcoming more au pairs and host families into my area. I also look forward to learning more about each new au pair and their home country and developing life-long friendships with them.

Conduct an in-home interview to understand your family's childcare needs and ensure program fit
Coordinate interviews with your top au pair candidates and our Matching Account Managers with confidence
Conduct an arrival orientation once your au pair joins your household - covering program guidelines and setting everyone up for success
Maintain monthly contact throughout your entire program year to ensure a happy, thriving placement
Organize local, in-person community activities and outings for au pairs to build friendships and explore the area
Provide guidance through any challenges from cultural adjustment to scheduling - along with AuPairCare's 24/7 support

Steps to Host an Au Pair

Family Room

Once you register and apply, you'll gain access to our award-winning database to search for au pairs based on childcare experience, skills, nationality, language, age, driving status and more.

Matching Managers

Our dedicated team plays an active role in helping you find the right au pair, addresses program questions, and offers recommendations around your family's specific wants and needs for your family.

Interviewing

When you find an au pair you’re interested in, we’ll help you set up an interview. During these calls, you can share information about your family and learn about an au pair to see if the match will be a good fit.

Mutual Match

After you decide on an au pair and both agree to match, you'll choose an arrival date. We'll take care of the visa paperwork and flights, and help you plan for your au pair's arrival after AuPairCare Connect in NYC.
