Welcome to the Northwest Minneapolis suburbs—Maple Grove, Medina, and nearby communities—where lakes, trails, and a friendly vibe meet easy access to the city. Downtown Minneapolis is a quick hop for museums, music, and pro sports. I’m Faith, your Area Director. I grew up in Maple Grove and Anoka, studied marketing in Chicago, and have 25 years in the travel industry. My husband and I have been married 16 years, and we’re raising 15-year-old triplet daughters—plus a few pets—so helping people feel at home across cultures is personal for me. I’ll support you with orientation, monthly check-ins, activities, and day-to-day guidance, and I’ll connect you with other au pairs. I can’t wait to meet you and make your year here unforgettable!

I'm with you every step of the way! As your Area Director, I provide personalized, designated local support that makes all the difference - for both your family and your au pair.

Conduct an in-home interview to understand your family's childcare needs and ensure program fit
Coordinate interviews with your top au pair candidates and our Matching Account Managers with confidence
Conduct an arrival orientation once your au pair joins your household - covering program guidelines and setting everyone up for success
Maintain monthly contact throughout your entire program year to ensure a happy, thriving placement
Organize local, in-person community activities and outings for au pairs to build friendships and explore the area
Provide guidance through any challenges from cultural adjustment to scheduling - along with AuPairCare's 24/7 support

Steps to Host an Au Pair

Family Room

Once you register and apply, you'll gain access to our award-winning database to search for au pairs based on childcare experience, skills, nationality, language, age, driving status and more.

Matching Managers

Our dedicated team plays an active role in helping you find the right au pair, addresses program questions, and offers recommendations around your family's specific wants and needs for your family.

Interviewing

When you find an au pair you’re interested in, we’ll help you set up an interview. During these calls, you can share information about your family and learn about an au pair to see if the match will be a good fit.

Mutual Match

After you decide on an au pair and both agree to match, you'll choose an arrival date. We'll take care of the visa paperwork and flights, and help you plan for your au pair's arrival after AuPairCare Connect in NYC.
