I’m an English teacher for the first grade at a school called American Academy. During the summertime, I also work as a summer camp leader with children ranging between 3.5 years old to 8 years old. I am also studying for my Masters in Education, having completed my Bachelor's degree in Marketing before I began the au pair program. While living in Menlo Park I attended Foothill College and took some courses which were really helpful to get a job faster after my placement ended. I loved being an au pair because I learned a lot and the experience gave me new skills to use with my children in the classroom. Personally, I grew as well. People say I'm more mature and responsible after the program. I also had the amazing experience to volunteer as a teacher's aid at my host child's preschool! I'm so thankful for so many experiences.
