I got to experience American culture, met so many amazing people all around the world and realized that the world is a big place! I think it’s important for people to participate in cultural exchange programs, as it’s the best way to truly experience a culture and learn the language. The au pair program helped me professionally as I was able to improve my English and got a Marketing certificate during my program year which helped me find a job in the field I was interested in. I’m now working as an Account Manager and really enjoy my job! If I could describe my au pair experience in 5 words, it would be: Amazing, fun, challenging, crazy, learning, life changing.
