Find Au Pairs: Selection Process
Finding an au pair has never been so easy! With AuPairCare's online matching system, Family Room, you can find au pairs that are compatible with your family's needs. You will be able to search for au pairs based on nationality, language, age, driving skills, gender and swimming ability. With Family Room, select the au pairs you are interested in interviewing and review their complete au pair application - all online, at anytime! AuPairCare's staff is there to provide support and expertise to you at any time during the matching process. Family Room combines advanced au pair search technology with personalized service.
AuPairCare's overseas representatives interview each candidate in person. Au pairs are accepted into the program only after they have met our strict admission criteria, as well as that of the U.S. Department of State.
Host families conduct a telephone interview with the au pair to determine if she/he will be compatible with their family. As a host family, when you call to introduce yourselves, you can give the au pair more information about your children, your community and anything else that's important to you.
Once the host family selects an au pair, AuPairCare arranges everything. We will complete the visa paperwork, make necessary travel arrangements from the au pair's country, and schedule the au pair's 4-day orientation and training program.
