All across the USA, the role of parenting is drastically changing. The need for extra help managing our families is more apparent than ever and the need for families to host an au pair to provide safe secure childcare in the parents' absence is becoming more necessary each day.
I feel that I deliver a "World Class Experience" to my AuPairCare au pairs and host families because I want the experience to be a good one for everyone involved. I feel that I provide leadership, guidance, support, friendship and compassion to those in my group. I set up expectations for the host families and au pairs and work with them to meet those expectations and have a successful program year. I encourage communication, honesty and mutual respect in the host family home.
My experience as a parent of a young adult, allows me to be understanding of the needs of an au pair. As a grandparent, I know what I expect regarding safe and secure childcare. I look at the year as a time of growth, for the au pair like a flower that blossoms, for a parent it is peace of mind and we all know that is important for working parents. For all, it is friendship and knowledge connecting cultures to meet the needs of others and lasting memories of the enjoyment of a successful year working together and an AuPairCare family.
