How to Apply
Au Pair Care understands that your time is valuable. That’s why we’ve designed an online application and au pair matching system that is both convenient and time-saving, no matter which one of our au pair program options you choose.
Submit an Online Application
Families interested in becoming an Au Pair Care family can complete our convenient online application. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete the application. You’ll be asked to provide the following types of information in the application:
- Your contact and employment information
- A description of your family, lifestyle, and desired au pair responsibilities
- Names and contact information for two personal (non-family) references
- A credit card number to pay the application fee (if applicable)
In addition, you’ll be asked to review and electronically agree to the terms and conditions of the Host Family Agreement, which outlines the program in detail. Be sure to review this document thoroughly and print a copy for your records.

View Au Pair Profiles
Once your application is received and processed, you’ll receive an email containing login information and instructions on using EasyMatch™, our online matching system. It typically takes less than one business day for you to receive this information. You’ll also receive a telephone call from your assigned Matching Expert, welcoming you to the program and offering to assist you in your au pair search. In the meantime, you can review how to find an au pair through Au Pair Care and you can view a sample of our high quality au pairs on our website.
