• Tell us about your previous childcare experience.
  • Until recently, I was working as a teacher at an English-only preschool here in Okinawa. I taught one and two year old children. There were 18 children in my class. It was sometimes hard taking care of so many children at one time, but seeing their smiles always made me happy. I have licenses as both a preschool and a kindergarten teacher because I graduated from a junior college in March, 2009. My major was a three year program called Early Childhood Education and Care. I studied a lot about childcare, education and teaching, development, health and nutrition, psychology, and more.
  • What three words would you use to describe yourself?
  • I am dependable, energetic and easy going.
  • Why do you want to be an Au Pair Care au pair?
  • I want to be an au pair for many reasons. First of all, I love children so much. Their smiles always help me feel happy and I like to play with them. Next, I have been interested in America for a long time and I want to learn more about American culture, family life and childcare. Also, I have been studying about Japanese culture, so being an au pair would be a good chance for me to share my culture with other people.
