Affordable Live-In Childcare

Finding affordable, high-quality, at home childcare is a challenge many parents face. The cost of childcare can vary greatly depending on where you live, the age of your child, the number of children you have, and your family’s specific childcare needs. Nannies and daycare rarely provide the most affordable childcare available for the average family. AuPairCare offers a live-in childcare option for parents who want to provide the best care possible for their children.

For about $350 per week or $7.75 per hour, you can have an in-home caregiver that looks after your child for up to 45 hours per week, in the safety of your own home. We believe that when you compare AuPairCare to other available childcare options such as daycare or nannies, you’ll find that au pair childcare offers the highest quality care to fit your family’s budget, especially when caring for multiple children.

Au Pairs vs. Daycare Centers

Au pairs help keep your budget and lifestyle on track when things don’t go as planned.

Cost Per Child AuPairCare program fees are the same, regardless of the number of children. On average, costs range from $11,000 - $14,000 per year for one child, not including fees paid for additional children.
Flexible Scheduling You set your au pair’s working hours so you have coverage in your home and at a time that works for you. Specific pick-up and drop-off times can make it challenging to manage busy schedules. Many centers charge late fees if you are unable to pick up your child on time.
Unexpected Events (i.e. your child gets sick) Your au pair can stay home with your child at no additional cost to you. When a child is sick and needs to stay home, parents typically need to miss work. Your child is also exposed to more illness and germs in a larger daycare setting.
ADDED BENEFIT! AuPairCare provides the lowest caregiver to child ratio for the most personalized childcare. Your au pair cares for your child in the safety and security of your own home, so you won’t have to worry about transportation to and from daycare, meal preparation or any special attention required by your child.
