Au Pair Café

I have been an Area Director with AupairCare for almost one year now.  Last year I started after the summer rush of Aupairs to the US.  Well this year I am experiencing the RUSH firsthand and I have been busy busy busy.  I am amazed at the array of Aupairs from all over the world…India, Turkey, Brazil, Sweden, Germany, France, Ecuador, Mexico, South Africa, Thailand and this just names a few.  AupairCare Aupairs are Special!  My goal is to help each of you have the best year that you can have in the United States.  I am responsible for getting you all together each month for monthly meetings and activities, some of you come some of you don’t.  We have enjoyed the Minnesota Historical Society, the St. Paul Winter Carnival, various coffee houses, a bar-b-que at my house, bowling and coming up in August a boat cruise on Lake Minnetonka!  How cool is that!  And don’t forget Host Family Day in September at Hidden Falls Park, this is a GREAT day for Host Families to play together with Aupairs and Host Families from around the entire Twin Cities.  Being an Aupair in Minnesota is FUN! 

Aupairs, especially new ones, want to know what to do and where to go…If you have been here for a year, I ask you to PLEASE reply to this blog and tell other aupairs what you do to have fun in the cities.  Remember, don’t give out personal information because this is a public site.  I have lived in the Minneapolis area for over 15 years and I bet you Aupairs could give me some advice on where to go to have fun…It’s a challenge!  Blog on ladies…Reply and let me know (and all our new aupairs) where to go to have fun in the Twin Cities.  Looking forward to your response!
