Au Pair Café

There is a weekend course being offered in San Francisco which has been approved by AuPairCare to meet half of your minimum educational requirement.  AuPair Education has partnered with several accredited colleges accross the U.S. to offer this fun weekend course titled “Experiencing America”.  The San Francisco course will be held this fall on October 24th - 26th.  The cost is $350 and includes 2 nights accomodations in the city (student housing), meals and snacks, tour of significant landmarks, an educational excursion (students have several options) and all course materials.  It does not include your transportation getting to the city.  Those completing the course will earn an equivalent of 3 semester hours/credits/units - which is half of the mimimum requirement for the year.  For more details and contact information go to: http://www.aupaireducation.com/course.html.  Since I have never attended the course I can not personally recommend it but it sounds like a great way to earn some school credits and have a fun time learning  about the history of San Francisco at the same time!
