No matter what one’s political views are we as a nation celebrate our freedom and honor our heros and those serving in the armed forces. One of the traditional ways to celebrate the 4th of July is to go to a Fireworks display. Here are some local firework displays that you might want to check out. Many of these celebrations are the finale to a day of fun and festivities. Cal Expo will put on a display beginning at 9:30pm. Carmichael will host a display at La Sierra Community Center at around 9pm. Citrus Heights holds their fireworks at Sunrise Mall and will begin around 9:40pm. Elk Grove, hosts Salute to Red, White & Blue at the Elk Grove Regional Park at 9:45pm. Folsom hosts fireworks at the Pro Rodeo, Rancho Cordova has theirs at Hagan Park. Roseville fireworks display is held at the Placer County Fairgrounds. There is also a parade and games and fun for the day at Royer Park. Lincoln holds theirs at McBean Park.
