Go see the fireworks! A great U.S. experience for Atlanta au pairs!

The Fourth of July–Independence Day–is coming up–this is a HUGE celebration in the U.S. when we celebrate our independence. Communities will have parades, festivals, live music, BBQs, and fireworks! This is a great way for au pairs to experience American culture–you will see a lot of red, white, and blue, and a lot of flags. 

Anywhere you are in Atlanta, you’ll find birthday parties for the good old U.S.A. Local newspapers carry all the particulars, so you can find anything from ‘huge’ Fireworks Displays… to… `small-townParades and Picnics.

Centennial Olympic Park … located between Baker Street and Techwood Drive is the site of Atlanta’s daylong Independence Day celebration. Live Music & Entertainment start in the afternoon and end with a ‘really bigFireworks Display choreographed to a Musical Score. Thousands of people turn out, but you can also view the fireworks from a variety of `less crowded‘ spots nearby. Festivities begin at 4:30 PM, with the fireworks show at 9:30 PM.

Hosting the largest Fireworks Show in the Southeast, Lenox Square will light up the beautiful Buckhead District with a huge Pyrotechnic Extravaganza at 9:40 PM.

Turner Field will also host a fireworks show immediately following the Braves game.
