Loading ...Summer Au Pair Meetings
Hello One and All,
I hope that you all enjoyed that burst of summer heat that we had last week! I wanted to just give you a quick up date as to what we will be doing for a summer meetings. Our June meeting will be on Saturday, June 14th (note it’s on Saturday, rather than the usual Sunday meeting), at my club house. The club has a nice pool and I will also check into reserving the volleyball court so that we can all have a little friendly competition! For the month of July, I was planning on going to Wild Rivers water park, but I have decided to change that. There were several reasons as to why I decided not to go to the water park this year, but the main reason was because of the cost. So…. instead of the water park, au pair Adna, and her host family, have offered to host our meeting at their club house on Sunday, July 20. We were thinking of making the meeting an International Potluck where each au pair brings some type of side dish (salad, dessert, snack) from their home country to share. What do you think???? I’m sure that many of you have great recipes from your home country that we would all love to taste!
We will have no meeting for the month of August - enjoy and have fun in the sun with your families and friends. I encourage each of you to log into our blog and let us know what you think about the International Potluck. I look forward to hearing all of your feedback.
