Hi Everyone! Memorial Day Weekend is coming soon and in America, it’s often a sign that summer is upon us! This holiday is to honor the U.S. men and women who have died in service to our country. It’s also a time in small town Connecticut for parades, picnics and barbecues. What are your plans for this weekend? Any good trips/barbecues? Hey,
Julia and me are going to watch the parade here in Tolland. My Hostdad told me about it and we decided to join them!
He said it is not a big parade, but I think it is fun and it is nice to see how Americans celebrate that day.

I will be marching with my kids in the Memorial Day parade!
I just heard about a new tour company, http://www.gotobus.com, that has some inexpensive trips to Niagra Falls and D.C. Hope you all have fun planning your weekends and vacations!

Hummm, I dont think we have a holiday like this in Brazil and we have a lot more holidays than here!

I hope to watch the parade in town. I love the marching bands, clowns that throw candy and the happy atmosphere!
