Au Pair Activity in May - a great time to be in Washington, D.C.
Hello everyone! May is a wonderful time of year here in DC. It is warming up but it’s not so hot that you need air conditioning (yet). Hopefully you aren’t suffering with allergies - It’s that time when everything blooms and many people get sick with hayfever. Pollen is everywhere. Don’t let that stop you from getting out and enjoying the outdoors and all the free things you can do here in the N. Virginia/DC area. How about a trip with your family to the zoo? Walking on the National Mall on the weekends is a great way to see the beautiful architecture in the capital city as well as a good way to get some exercise. Most of the museums are free so be sure to check them out. The Natural History museum is my favorite.
Save Sunday, May 18th for our May get-together. I’m planning something really fun and inexpensive. Read more about our event in my newsletter that’s coming out this afternoon. Please post a comment and tell me what kinds of monthly activities you’d like to see us do this summer.

Hello everyone, i think that if it will be nice weather on Sanday, i would prefer spend the time somewhere outside. Not in the museum or shopping. Zoo is good idea if you dont want spend little money, but i was there. So i dont want to go there again.
I wish that this meeting will be bikung in the Geprgetown. I know that it is little bit expensive/ but i think that experience will be wonderful.

Hey girls & boy (s)! I just wanted to post a great activity I like to do during the summer, and that is: KAYAKING! yes, the best way to start is the Potomac River at Georgetown, that way after, kayaking, rowing or canoeing you can enjoy walking around the hip university city. If you are under the drinking age, there’s nothing better than Ice cream or the exclusive tea houses but if you are older and want to stay longer..after the ice cream go enjoy the night life! Georgetown is served by Metro, get down at Foggy Bottom station.

The Natural History Museum is my favorite too… it’s a very nice museum for all kinds of interests… also, check out the butterflies exposition, it’s so pretty!
The Zoo is in my plans for vacation!..lol

Hi,
yeah, I agree it is the best time to go to Dc. I am allergic with all things are blooming there but it is a nice weather.
My parents are coming at the end of the month around the 21 st of may. We gonna go to Dc, they will love it..
I am so excited…
Then, I will be almost soon at home.. I start to be excited and sad too..
I don’t know about the next meeting what we can do…
I really would like to see an american football game, baseball game… I didn’t have the chance to do that.
I don’t really know… I am going to think about it.
take care,
