I love to picnic!!  Now that the weather is warmer, I started to think about the things I love about Spring and Summer.  Picnics are on the top of my list.  While I enjoy eating outside, there are many who really don’t - for one reason or another.  Growing up in Scotland did not give us a lot of opportunity to eat outside, but I remember how much I loved pulling a little table outside when the weather was warm.  Picnic food is different all around the world - anyone like Marmite (yeast spread) on toast?  What about a sardine sandwich? Or how about a cucumber sandwich with butter - yes, that is what the Queen serves at Buckingham Palace for a picnic tea!  Write down your favorite or traditional picnic food from your country and let’s see how different or similar they are.
