The 4th of July, Independence day is coming up! This is a HUGE celebration in the U.S. to celebrate our independence. America declared “that all men are created equal with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Communities will have parades, festivals, live music, BBQs, and fireworks! This is a great way for au pairs to experience American culture–you will see a lot of red, white, and blue, and a lot of flags.
It’s America’s 232nd birthday which has officially been celebrated since 1941.

I am very excited for the warm weather. I love to swim and be outside. I think we are going camping again and possibly to San Antonio.
