AuPairCare au pairs, I am so excited about using this context for sharing information and communicating ideas around topics of interest. As international nannies, I would like you to take full advantage of the cultural events we have available in our community. First topic of interest- free entertainment-Would any of you like to go out for an evening of fun and have it cost very little money? Better yet, let’s do this for a monthly activity. Here’s one idea… The Santa Rosa Downtown Market fills the downtown area along Fourth Street from B Street to D Street with fine foods, fresh produce, a variety of entertainment, and handmade arts and crafts.. The 2008 Market Season will run from May 21 through August 27. Market hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Au pairs, please post other free fairs, markets, or concerts that will be taking place in the next few months. Each au pair will benefit from your sharing.

Thanks for the information about free stuff to do. Thank you Cindy for sharing your ideas. Did you find another au pair from South Africa? You may want to go to the other regional blogs such as Marin or Napa to see if there are any au pairs from SA. Cindy tell your au pair friends to post/chat on this great site. Rebecca will use this to provide information to her cluster.

There is a farmers market every Tuesday night form 5 until around 8 in Sonoma. Its filled with laughter, music and realy good food and fun to bring the kids to. Its at the local Plaza and its the biggest town park in California.
In Petaluma is a club called Kodiak Jack’s and on saterday’s 18 and over with a cost of $10 of 18-20 and $7 for 21 and over. Realy American club with linedancing and Karaoke.
Any aupairs form South Africa that r new and need some local support r welcome to contact me, im open to make friends with anyone.
