Finding Your Host Family

Once you are accepted by Au Pair Care, your application, photos and video will made available in Au Pair Care's online matching system, allowing host families to learn about your background, childcare skills and preferences. Interested host families will contact you to conduct a phone interview.

During the telephone interview, the family will introduce themselves and provide you with information about their children, childcare needs, lifestyle and their community. You will have an opportunity to tell the family about yourself and why you want to be an au pair in the USA. You may interview one family or several to find a compatible family. Once you and the host family have selected each other, Au Pair Care will make all the arrangements needed to facilitate your arrival to the United States.
